The design process begins with an at-home consultation where we explore your space and gain valuable insights into your budget and overall project objectives. This consultation is an excellent opportunity for you to acquaint yourself with our team, understand our meticulous process, and determine if we are the perfect fit for your project. Everyone’s space and design objectives are unique, so to better understand your needs and vision for your space, we ask all our clients to complete a questionnaire to better understand personal style preferences, design aesthetics, family dynamics, and usage of the space in question.
Following our consultation, we present you with a tailored proposal that reflects the scope of work discussed. Once you have reviewed and signed our design agreement and proposal, and submitted the required retainer, we proceed with a trades visit and on-site measurements.
As a cohesive team, we tackle every design challenge head-on, meticulously crafting exquisite and functional solutions that harmonize seamlessly with your specific needs and daily routines. Founder | Principal Designer
I have been designing and renovating homes for 20 years, however, interior design is not the industry in which I began my career. After graduating from University of Pennsylvania with a degree in biology, I pursued a career in marketing and market research in the pharmaceutical industry. In my free time, I decorated my family’s home hanging wallpaper in bathrooms, applying molding in dining rooms, painting my kids’ rooms in intricate patterns, and making pillows and window coverings for every room in the house. I executed every crazy idea I had, and I dragged my family along for the ride!
Three states, 3 homes, and 5 remodels later, my love for homes led me to get my realtor’s license in the Bay Area. It is during this time that my passion for architecture and interior design flourished as I enjoyed advising clients on improvements and design elements they could incorporate in their own homes to increase resale value, while also enhancing the utility and comfort unique to their families. All the while, friends and family members solicited my advice and hired me to design their own spaces, and, like many people, I pivoted during COVID and followed my passion, culminating in the official launch of my full-scale interior design business.
I have always been a client-centric interior designer, really listening to the needs and desires of my clients in order to bring their unique vision to life. My focus has never been to design the “Instagram” worthy room but rather one that my clients LOVE coming home to at the end of the day. I have honed these skills throughout my 20 years of experience designing my own homes and those of family and friends. Every client is unique, as is every situation and as a result my clients are partners with me in the design process and integral to the success of each project.
